What I do:

I built a multi-crore business without an MBA or knowledge of business.

I grew up in a conservative Indian family where women are barred from working.

I saw my mother and grandmother as dedicated housewives whose identity was defined by their roles as mothers and wives. 

​But early on I knew I was a leader, maybe it was the fact that I was a Leo or that I was an elder daughter.

I was effortlessly comfortable bringing people together around a shared purpose.

​Even though the women in my family didn’t have the space to pursue their own dreams, they encouraged me to pursue mine.

Fast forward to 2015,

I launched my first business—a literary organization that published books, organized festivals across the country, and hosted writing residencies for young writers.

To say I knew nothing when I started wouldn’t be an exaggeration.

I learned everything along the way—through mistakes, losses, and moments of self-doubt. There were many times I felt defeated. But in the end, it was all worth it. Today, my company DelSlam continues to serve writers and poets across the country.

My approach has always been simple: learn what I don’t know. I built my own website, figured out paperwork and accounting, learned to negotiate with vendors, ran Meta ads, created social media content, hired the right people—and now, I’m learning AI.

Launching Two Roads Studio:

It took me 10 long years to build success.

It could have happened much faster if I had the right guidance, mentorship, and a strong network.

There are so many women in the same place I once was—driven, ambitious, ready to build something of their own, yet held back by a lack of direction on how to get there faster.

That’s why I launched Two Roads Studio—India’s only studio built to help women founders create purpose-driven businesses, supported by guidance and mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs.
