Hi, I’m Sristy. I live in New Delhi. I am a trip curator and founder of Two Roads Studio, the city’s only space created for women who have ambition to live riskier and hotter lives.

Growing up in a family where moving was the norm, I got to live in several wonderful towns of India.

Each time I got comfortable with my environment, with the people, the culture and the food of a place, it was time to move again. We lived in tribal areas of China Border, in several places in West Bengal, visited Nepal often, lived in South India, on Andaman Islands. Eventually I found myself in North America, summer camp in the Virginia, USA, higher education in Vancouver, Canada, first job in Toronto, then few months every year exploring Norway, Sweden, Prague, Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic.

This was the way of life, to go into unfamiliar spaces and start belonging there. There was so much learning and growth. There was spiritual expansion, cultural exchange, new languages learnt. My roots were not tied to a particular place, they belonged across the world, in every single place I ever lived in since my early childhood.

This made me bold and brave. I was unafraid to move around. So when I eventually returned to India I started going deeper with my travels, I went into remote places and lived there. Like when I lived on Divar Island, a mangrove Island of Goa, like when I moved to Bolpur and spent two years learning classical music and art and when I did a life-changing road trip across India 2500 kms with my dogs and my sister to go live with the Kodava Tribe of Coorg.

Two Roads Studio was born from my journeys. A space for women to explore their wild nature. We host workshops on travel, cultural exchange, spirituality and building business from our hearts.

In July I am hosting the greatest trip for international women to come to India and take a trip with me. Women are doing too much, so they need pampering and a chance to reset their mind, body and soul. And that is what we are gonna do- beautiful views, luxury hotel rooms, music & culture, food and wine.

Milestones

At 23, I started working in the Canadian Film & TV industry & gained valuable experience working in a crew

At 25, my poetry videos became viral on Youtube launching a
massive spoken word revolution among the youth of India

Between 26 & 28,

I hosted India's first writing retreats in Goa & Jaipur,
Helped 500 new authors self-publish their books
Hosted 100 + literary event including Ahmedabad Poetry Festival & Verses Payoff Festival feat Alok Vaid Menon.
Hosted spoken word workshops across schools and colleges of such as IIT Delhi, Mandi, Roorke, IIM Ahmedabad, British School
Lived and traveled to many remote places such as Divar Island, Saur Village, Bolpur, Mawlynnong

At 29, after a failed relationship and a terrible burn-out I left everything behind to build myself anew in the ancient forests of Kodagu.

At 31, I found my way back to Delhi — with a shifted perspective and a mission to set up the Two Roads Studio, a venue in Delhi where women attend workshops on building important life skills- travel, healing, relationships, business

Almost died, but survived to tell the tale
